Available on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series, this season will introduce several new features, including new characters from the Fantastic 4 and additional content for 6v6 fans. An eagerly-awaited update that promises to enrich the best-selling title, with its polished gameplay and already substantial roster.
Season 1 will feature the arrival of two new heroes, Mister Fantastique, a duelist, and the Invisible Woman, a strategist, available from January 10. The Torch and the Thing, other members of the Fantastic 4, will join them at the end of February. According to NetEase, this new season will be divided into two periods of around six to seven weeks. In addition to the heroes, new maps will be offered, including Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown, scheduled for launch, with two more maps planned for the second half of the season.
New features also include Doom Match mode, a free-for-all for 8 to 12 players, and an enhanced Battle Pass. The latter, entitled Empire of Eternal Night, will offer"twice as much content" as at the launch of Marvel Rivals, with ten costumes inspired by the season's theme, which features Dracula taking over New York. The Battle Pass Premium will be available for 990 Lattice, or around $10. This substantial update is designed to keep up the enthusiasm of the already numerous players, the title having recently recorded a peak of 415,000 simultaneous players on Steam.
