Fellow Fortnite gamers, mark your calendars!Epic Games ' Battle Royale returns with a new season (Season 4 of Chapter 5), from August 16, 2024. Entitled Fatal Judgment, this new adventure focuses on the Marvel heroes, and Doctor Doom, who intends to take control of the island... But Captain Jones, Bananeverine, War Machine, Gwenpool and Shuri are out to thwart his plans.
A season in which Doctor Doom, the villain of the comic book universe, takes center stage. After causing a devastating explosion on the island, revealing Pandora's Box, he intends to take advantage of it to increase his power.
In terms of gameplay, this season introduces a diversified Battle Pass, mixing characters straight out of the Marvel comics with original creations. Gwenpool, War Machine, Emma Frost, Mysterio, Shuri and many others will be among the protagonists to embody.
On the map, new locations will also appear, including the Raft, the famous maximum-security prison of the Marvel universe, as well as Castle Doom and its forge, and Doomstadt, a "Latverian" village (the fictional country where Doctor Doom lives), all in a modified climate that will plunge you even deeper into the universe of the Fantastic 4's emblematic enemy.
On the weapons side, we'll also find the micro double-gun machine pistol,War Machine's arsenal (with automatic turret and jet engines), the monarch pistol, the sovereign shotgun and the assault rifle. And, of course, Doctor Doom's gauntlets and Captain America's shield. Note that the Doctor Doom skin will also be available, via Combat Pass quests, from September. Season ends November 2.
