More precisely, in this Parisian lifestyle spot , you can question your consumption habits and take action to limit your environmental footprint. La Textilerie is a boutique, a thrift shop, a workshop and a café all rolled into one .
For example, there's a Recyclerie where you can donate your old clothes, even damaged ones! The most important thing is that they're clean and dry (yes, that's important!). Depending on their condition, they will either be resold at a very low price, reused in the designers' workshops or not, or completely recycled. In all cases, there's no room for waste. 
You can also buy second-hand clothes, or discover eco-responsible and ethical designers such as La Tête dans les Nuages and their ultra-design poufs, or Mode Estime, whose pieces are made by employees of the eponymous workshop using production offcuts.
At the same time, since it's said that you're never better served than by yourself, you can take advantage of the haberdashery area to buy fabrics by the metre, but not just any fabrics! Denim, poplin or gabardine, everything here is made from GOTS-certified organic cotton, grown in India or Turkey, then woven and ennobled in Turkey or Europe. Right down to the spools of yarn!
Are you an inexperienced needleworker who wants to learn? Well, here you can take sewing or DIY workshops, and there's something for every level!
Finally, if in the midst of all this activity you'd like to take a break, head for the Café de la Textilerie. With its library and ultra-comfortable armchairs, it's the ideal place to relax before continuing your work!
