Desigual keeps working with Christian Lacroix and provides a Fall-Winter 2019 collection especially great. Meet at BHV to try on this selection of pieces with a rare DNA.
Since 2012, Desigual and Christian Lacroix have been teaming up but this year, the meeting of their universes is very explosive. The outcome is a baroque, luxuriant chic with pop and bright colors that shake our Fall up.
That being said, we have to confess that it’s been years that we can’t wrap our heads around the enthusiasm for the Barcelona-based brand. The prints and colors selected made us feel like clothes were designed by a color-blinded designer. Pieces of this closet where trying to stand out so much as the orgies of details, embroideries and other ribbons sickened us quite a lot. “Trying too hard” we could say.
Well, this collection has us changing our minds. Maybe not about the whole collection, but there are some rare and strong pieces we’d like to see in our closets.
And for this campaign, it’s Najwa Nimri who strikes a pose. The Spanish actress seen in La Casa de Papel has selected her favorite pieces. The shoot is merry, colorful and of course very beautiful!
We particularly like the double-buttoned loose coat with its mustard yellow color and the white and green floral patterns (€309.95) or the multicolored hooded jacket (€249.95) for a cocooning vibe that stands against the cold.
