The Arcane animated series, created by Riot Games and animated by Fortiche Production, has established itself as a global phenomenon since the release of its first season on Netflix in 2021. Acclaimed by critics and fans alike, this work inspired by the universe of Riot Games' famous League of Legends video game, follows the adventures of Vi and Jinx, two sisters with poignant destinies evolving in the twin cities of Piltover and Zaun.
Quick summary for novices: on the one hand, Piltover presents itself as a model of prosperity and advanced technology, while on the other, Zaun, located in the dark depths, struggles with poverty and social injustice. These two worlds, as geographically close as they are diametrically opposed, form the stage for political tensions and social conflicts.
After a two-year wait, Netflix is set to unveil the second (and final!) season of Arcane in November, in three distinct acts. The first act will begin on November 9. Act Two will be released on November 16, and the final act of the series - Act Three - will be released on November 23... But while we're waiting for the second season to begin, Arcane offers you an extraordinary experience at Galeries Lafayette Champs-Elysées.
To coincide with the release of Arcane season 2 on Netflix, the world of the multi-award-winning animated series invades Galeries Lafayette Champs Elysées. "Arcane" (Riot Games) is adapted from the "League of Legends" video game, with animation by French studio Fortiche Production.
From October 24 to November 10, fans of the series and all curious visitors will be able to plunge into the world of Arcane right from the store's entrance tunnel. Staged and lit for total immersion, it will guide them directly into the workshop of Jinx, one of the series' characters.
Under the 8m-high propeller, visitors can take part in the Chomper Workshop to personalize one of Jinx's gadgets, or immortalize their visit by transforming themselves into a blue-haired character thanks to a unique photo experience. There will also be an area selling official series merchandise, including clothing, accessories, jewelry, figurines and plush toys from Fulllife & Riot Games.
