La Braderie Asmodée, games at bargain prices in Yvelines

Asmodée, France's leading board game company, is well known to game fans. Founded in 1995, this French company offers a wide range of games for all ages, from timeless classics to innovative new releases. The company offers strategy games, role-playing games, card games and much more, to suit all tastes and occasions. Based in France, Asmodée has established itself as a major player in the board game sector. With an impressive catalog including popular titles such as Les Aventuriers du Rail, Catan, Dixit, Pandemic, 7 Wonders, Carcassonne, and Splendor.

This Saturday, June 29, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., we'll be on hand in the warehouse parking lot to sell off almost 30,000 games. So, we're not going to lie to you, we were ready to keep the news to ourselves and sneak off to find the best deals on the spot. But then our professional conscience caught up with us and we had to share the news. It has to be said that the event is eagerly awaited by many fans and bargain hunters.

Last year, there were already hundreds of them waiting before the doors opened, because you know the adage: first come, first served! And it's even truer here, where defective boxes are snapped up at the drop of a hat. Some of them arrive in the middle of the night, or even sleep in their cars (yes, they do). Last year's tip was to bring your own chairs, table and friends, and play board games while you waited for the event to open, to combine business with pleasure.

Another tip from last year: bring your own cart. In fact, people take whole crates with them to the Braderie Asmodée. Some take advantage of this to resell everything at a low price, or to fill their game rooms at a lower cost. So it's hard to carry all that with your little arms.

With 50 million games sold every year, including 8 million in France, Asmodée doesn't need to clear its stock, but is organizing this sale tomake room in its warehouses. The games on offer are often those that sell less or more, that have never found their audience, or whose boxes are damaged.

At the end of the day, unsold games are distributed to local associations such as Bibliothèques sans Frontières d'Épône, Emmaüs de Trappes, and Secours populaire des Yvelines. Some 15 organizations will be invited to help themselves to the remaining games, adding an extra dimension of solidarity to this already popular event.

The braderie takes place in the parking lot ofAsmodee France, 18 rue Jacqueline Auriol, 78280 Guyancourt. Parking spaces are available in and around the street. The site is served by buses 439, 440, 461 and 464. You can pay for your purchases on site in cash or by credit card.

Pregnant women and people with reduced mobility are invited to report to the site entrance for assistance. Last but not least, a food truck is on the program for those wishing to eat on site.
