Embellish your interior, transforming every room into a stylish cocoon by adorning it with accessories, paintings and meticulously selected furniture... Decorating is a passion shared by many French people. And, if you're one of those people who get excited when they see a beautiful carpet, then you can rejoice! Paris Déco Off/Home is back for its 14th edition on the theme of "The Tree of Life". From January 17 to 21, 2024, some 150 designers and editors from the world of decoration await you in their Parisian showrooms, located on the Left and Right Banks, for an initiatory voyage to discover this year's decorating trends.
For 5 days, Paris becomes the decorating capital of the world. Head for the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district, rue du Mail, Place des Victoires and Place Saint-Sulpice in Paris, to discover what's new in the world of decorating. Meet established artists and up-and-coming talents in 150 showrooms brimming with armchairs, lamps, cushions, curtains, wallpaper, decorative elements... All styles, all materials and all decorative objects are highlighted at this free event!
But Paris Déco Off/Home is also an open-air art gallery! Once again this year, the Festival des Étoffes is inviting the Hôtel de l'Industrie, the "Passage Saint-Sulpice" (the new ephemeral space on Place Saint-Sulpice) and the restaurant Le Moulin de la Vierge, to decorate their outside windows with hangings, wallpapers and curtains adorned with passementerie. The famous oversized furniture created by Ecart International is also back, as are the now-traditional giant incandescent lamps, which illuminate and mark out the right and left banks. On the Place des Petits-Pères, a large plexiglass space will host a scenography of creations by Luteca, as well as one of its craftsmen, who has come all the way from Mexico to create, before the eyes of passers-by, various basketry objects from cactus and reed stems. Also new this year, an Art-Nouveau-style Champagne Bar will take over the central aisle of the "Passage Saint-Sulpice".
At the same time, a huge cardboard lamp by artist Emmanuelle Zarée will be installed in the lobby of the Hôtel de l'Industrie, highlighting the theme of this year's Paris Déco Home.
Don't miss this international event dedicated to decorating, a real source of inspiration for giving your interiors a trendy makeover!
The event is free and open to all. Free shuttle buses will take visitors from one showroom to the next. (stops at Place des Petits-Pères, Place Saint-Germain-des-Prés and Place Saint-Sulpice).
