Cheese and Wine Day at the Musée Vivant du Fromage for wine and cheese tastings

Cheese and Wine Day, celebrating the perfect pairing of cheese and wine, awaits you this Tuesday, November 5, 2024. The event takes place from 10am to 10pm at the recently opened Musée Vivant du Fromage at 39 rue Saint-Louis en l'île in the 4ᵉ arrondissement, offering food lovers a unique opportunity to discover the secrets of this iconic pairing.

This gourmet show marks the start of Cheese and Wine Week, and brings together over 1,300 visitors, as well as culinary and media influencers, all curious to discover the diversity of wine and cheese pairings. On the program: free tastings with passionate producers, who come to share their know-how and their characterful products. This immersive space allows visitors to enjoy an hour's tasting of artisanal creations from various wineries and cheese dairies, revealed in sometimes surprising pairings.

On the cheese side, you'll be able to savor the famous Roquefort AOP from Caves Baragnaudes, a powerful classic with clean, saline notes. Jousseaume farmhouse goat's cheese offers a milder alternative, with aromas of the terroir. Lovers of creamy textures will appreciate E. Graindorge cheeses from Normandy, renowned for their melt-in-the-mouth texture and subtle flavors. This selection of cheeses represents a range of tastes and regions, for a taste panorama as rich as it is varied.

Cheese and Wine Day is a new experience in the heart of Paris for all cheese and wine lovers. To book and take advantage of this day of discovery and indulgence, pre-registration is required via the event website. Cost: €10 to €20 per person, depending on the schedule, for a one-hour visit, including tasting.
