As decontamination approaches, people are getting ready to return to the sports fields, both indoors and outdoors. And just in time: in Sucy-en-Brie, the Padel Horizon multi-racket sports center is ready to reopen its doors to the people of Ile-de-France, after a long period of closure due to the health crisis. With 6 padel courts, 4 squash courts and 4 badminton courts, it's the ideal place for all racquet sports enthusiasts.

Padel, badminton, squash... Still can't decide which of these three racket sports suits you best? Fortunately, we've found the solution: the Padel Horizon sports complex is about to reopen to the general public. As soon as the health restrictions have been lifted, the indoor multiracket center in Sucy-en-Brie, Val-de-Marne, will resume its activities. Accessible in 25 minutes from Gare de Lyon via RER A, Sucy-Bonneuil stop.

Inside, everything is ready to welcome racket-lovers from the Paris region. 4 squash courts, 4 badminton courts, and above all 6 padel courts, the new darling of racquet sports, which continues to win over tennis fans and other sports enthusiasts in France. Both on and off the courts, everything has been designed to ensure players' comfort: quality materials, space between each court, sofas to relax on. All that's missing are players on site!

The Padel Horizon team also offers an "all-in-one" complex. "We've conceived the site as a true living space," stresses Loïc Revol, head of communications for Padel Horizon. The clubhouse on the mezzanine floor, which offers a bird's-eye view of the courts, also boasts an on-site catering service, developed in collaboration with a caterer. Other areas include spacious changing rooms - two for women and two for men - and an airy multi-purpose room for seminars.

Above all, Padel Horizon innovates! To connect players with each other and give them a complete experience, they invite them to download a dedicated application. The process takes just a few clicks: first register on the app, then enter your level, and finally find the right match slot for you. This tool offers two major advantages: it ensures that there are never any courts where there are only 3 players, and it enables you to meet players of a different level. As with many other indoor sports complexes, Padel Horizon has a pricing structure based on peak and off-peak hours.

Delivered at the end of August 2020 after just five months' work, the brand-new indoor complex unfortunately had to close its doors after just one month of operation, due to the second wave of the Covid-19 epidemic. This time, the Padel Horizon team is hoping to reopen once and for all. "Since the first lockdown, we've been working hard to get things up and running as quickly as possible" and reopen as soon as possible, explains Loïc Revol. "We have a building to RT 2012 standards, which means no heating in the sports areas, so it's neither too hot in winter nor too cold in summer", he adds.

Behind the project is Maraga, the company already behind the creation of the first indoor padel center in the Paris region in 2015, then in Fontenay-sous-Bois, and which has also embarked on the Wave in Paris adventure , a first-of-its-kind static wave center scheduled to open in early June (subject to health restrictions being lifted). Maraga invested 2.4 million euros to bring this gigantic 2,900m2 complex, entirely dedicated to indoor racquet sports, to life.

A welcome multi-racket center in an area still untouched by indoor padel courts. In Ile-de-France, south-east of Paris, Padel Horizon is the only indoor complex to offer so many padel, badminton and squash courts. So now there's no excuse to give padel a try: go for it!
