This month, the Comité départemental de la randonnée pédestre invites you to follow in the footsteps of Lutetia, Paris in the 1st century BC, in the heart of Antiquity. Discover the capital's Gallo-Roman past, between the arena and theÎle de la Cité, and learn a few anecdotes about our ancestors, on an exciting 7.5 km route. Finish around 10pm, on Place du Châtelet!

The Panamées are cultural hikes that have been taking place on the third Thursday of every month since 2004. The three-hour hikes are open to all, as long as you wear comfortable shoes. Each walk is entirely free of charge, and the Comité de la randonnée pédestre de Paris (Paris Hiking Committee) is responsible for introducing visitors to the capital through a different theme or famous person each month.
