The 3 valleys trail, an open-air hike from Massy (91) to Ile Saint-Germain (92)

Fancy a hike through some of the most beautiful parts of Hauts-de-Seine? Get your shoes ready and set off on the PR7, the Alto-sequanese hiking trail that links the town of Massy (91) to the Parc de l'Île Saint-Germain, near Issy-les-Moulineaux (92).

In addition to the long-distance hiking trails (GR ) that cross or skirt the Paris region, there are numerous short and medium-distance hiking trails, ideal for discovering the cultural and natural riches of the region. Put on your good walking shoes, bring your water bottle, rucksack, picnic and sun cream, and off you go to discover the PR 7, the path linking Essonne to Hauts-de-Seine, from Massy to Issy-les-Moulineaux.

Passing through Antony, Châtenay-Malabry, le Plessis-Robinson, Clamart and Meudon, the 3 Vallées trail, also known as PR 7 by the French Hiking Federation (FFR), crosses many towns in the Hauts-de-Seine department, and with them, allows you to discover many points of interest in the area. Don't miss exploring the bucolic park of the Maison de Chateaubriand, or discovering the remarkable trees for which theArboretum de la Vallée-aux-Loups in Châtenay-Malabry is famous, strolling through the famous Meudon forest, the petit bois in Clamart or opting for a far niente in the sun on the lawn of the Île Saint-Germain park!

All in all, this itinerary covers just over 33 kilometers, but can be broken down into sections of 5, 10 or 15 kilometers. An itinerary is available online, or you can follow the yellow markers for the "chemins de petite randonnée" (PR). Enjoy your hike!
