The 12th edition of Portugal Day promises to be festive and colorful! This must-attend event, eagerly awaited by the Portuguese community, promises festive family fun celebrating Portuguese culture in all its splendor!
FOLKLORE AND TRADITION
Throughout the day, Portuguese artists will be performing to share the traditions of their country. Let yourself be carried away by the festive atmosphere and spellbinding performances of the folk groups, who will bring a fiery atmosphere to the edge of the dance floor.
AUTHENTIC 100% PORTUGUESE VILLAGE
It's impossible to talk about Portugal without mentioning its gastronomy! The real Portuguese Village, set up
in the racecourse's main hall, invites you to discover 14 stands that will take you on a journey through
the flavors and artisanal products of this sunny country. You can sample
culinary specialities such as bacalhau, cod croquettes, octopus salad and bifanas. For those
who prefer a front-row seat to the racing spectacle, trackside food trucks
are also available. And for the ultimate in comfort, the Panoramic Restaurant
offers a breathtaking view of the racecourse!
9 SHOW RACES
Racecourses mean horse races. The day will be punctuated by 9 trotter races. Not to be missed: the Prix des Elites, a Group I Stirrup race on the 2,175-meter speed course, and the Grand Prix du Portugal. This coveted race will bring together 4-year-old champions in a breathless, ultra-fast battle. The demanding and spectacular Stirrup discipline, a symbol of French know-how and tradition, will be in the spotlight more than ever.
FREE ENTERTAINMENT FOR ALL
Numerous free events will delight young and old alike, including pony christenings and a carousel of
wooden horses... Take advantage of the following bus to experience the races at the heart of the pack, and
discover what goes on behind the scenes of the competition during guided tours of the stables. A rich
program of festive and immersive activities awaits you!
