On November 11, 2024, World War IArmistice Day, an exceptional rugby match will take place at the Jean Bouin stadium. For the occasion, the French Army and Navy will face off on the pitch, in support of the wounded defending France at home and abroad. This annual challenge, the Challenge Foch Ronarc'h, is both a great moment of sport and commemoration, accessible to all for five euros.
At the Stade Français, the two army rugby clubs meet again, having played together last year to become world military champions ! All proceeds from the match will be donated to associations that care for the wounded and their families.
Join us at the Jean Bouin stadium for an unusual commemoration, at 1pm for the women's match and 3:20pm for the men's match, after the arrival of the oval ball by Army helicopter. The day's program will also include a demonstration by the gymnastics team of the Paris Fire Brigade and musical entertainment.
