This past July 6, 2020, the world was told of the passing of talented maestro Ennio Morricone. Dead at age 91, he was the mastermind behind iconic movie soundtracks especially written for Bernardo Bertolucci, Dario Argento, without forgetting Sergio Leone.
On Tuesday December 6, 2022, Paris Accor Arena will house a unique musical event organized by Andrea Morricone - the composer's son - who will be paying tribute to the many and magnificent movie scores written by Ennio Morricone. On the occasion, a complete orchestra and choir will be performing live on the Grand Rex stage some of the most iconic scores of the maestro from legendary movies including “A Fistful of Dollars”, “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly”, “Cinema Paradiso”, “The Professional”, “The Sicilian Clan”, “Mission to Mars”, “My Name is Nobody”, “Inglorious Bastards”, “Once Upon a Time in America”, “The Thing”, “The Untouchables”, “Django Unchained”, “The Hateful Eight”… A Quentin Tarantino movie Ennio Morricone – then 87 – won the Oscar 2016 for Best Original Score for.
