Hyper Weekend Festival 2025 in Paris: Jorja Smith, Chilly Gonzales... the first names

Radio France announces the fourth edition of the Hyper Weekend Festival, its event dedicated to contemporary music. From Friday, January 24 to Sunday, January 26, 2025, enjoy a host of concerts and artists in the most emblematic venues of the Maison Ronde. On the program? British artist Jorja Smith in her first symphonic concert, pianist and singer Chilly Gonzales with his concept of "chamber rap", and a tribute to Renaud by Noé Preszow. Here are the first names!

It's back, and it's bound to be a great turnout! Following the success of the first three editions of theHyper Weekend Festival, the Maison de la radio et de la musique announces the new and fourth edition of its contemporary music festival, under the impetus of Didier Varrod, Music Director of Radio France. Mark your calendars! TheHyper Weekend Festival returns to Radio France on Friday 24, Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 January 2025.

Remember, in January 2024, this musical event took over several emblematic venues at Maison de la Radio, including Studio 104, the Auditorium, the Nave, the Tower's 22nd floor... For 3 days and 3 nights, over 60 artists played and sang, offering more than 30 concerts showcasing the French scene and new talent. At this third edition, the public were able to applaud Jeanne Added, Barbara Pravi, L'Impératrice, Kids Return, Marguerite Thiam and Frànçois Atlas & Aja.

So, what can we expect this year, and who has the honor of participating in the fourth edition of theHyper Weekend Festival? Well, British artist Jorja Smith is on board with an exclusive concert at the Auditorium. For the occasion, the soul singer will be accompanied by theOrchestre Philharmonique de Radio France.

Meanwhile, the offbeat Chilly Gonzales, who caused a sensation at the opening ceremony of the Paris Paralympics, will be offering " chamber rap ", surrounded by several young talents in the genre and an instrumental chamber orchestra.

We haven't forgotten thetribute paid to Renaud on the occasion of his 50th anniversary. To be discovered in Studio 104, this creation was imagined by Belgian singer and musician Noé Preszow. The musical career of Henri Salvador will also be honored at this year'sHyper Weekend festival, thanks to the artist Voyou.

Quebec singer Pierre Lapointe will be on hand to preview his new opus. Other up-and-comers include Franco-Swiss artist Yoa, rapper Zinée and Parisian electronic music composer Aho Ssan, whose real name is Niamké Désiré.

In short, in 2025, get ready to discover three days and three evenings of concerts and musical creations in several of the Maison de la Radio's flagship spaces.
