Nostalgic Daft Punk fans are expected on Sunday December 11, 2022, at Paris Palais des Congrès to (re)discover the many hits by the electro duo in a never-before-heard version. The venue nestled in Paris 17th arrondissement will welcome an event, “One More Time”, an electro and symphonic tribute show to the iconic band of the “French touch”.
For the record, it is in February 2021 that Daft Punk created a surprise by announcing they were splitting. A hard blow for many fans yet eager to see Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo live again.
This December 11, Paris Palais des Congrès offers you to enjoy some of the many hits by Daft Punk in exclusive versions, performed by over 50 musicians on stage. From “Human After All”, to “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger”, to “Da Funk”, or “Get Lucky”, or even “Aerodynamic” or “Digital Love” and “Instant Crush”… all hits will be performed!
Behind this event stands Overlook Events, the now famous production creating the symphonic world tours of Assassin’s Creed and John Williams, as well as famous concerts of artists such as Danny Elfman (Tim Burton), Joe Hisaishi (Ghibli) or even Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy). For this “One More Time” show – covering 2 hours – Overlook Events promises the audience “an uncommon light and sound show!” and hopes to created “the best tribute to Daft Punk possible”. To do so, the show will offer spectators a both visual and sound experience with a live light set and a symphonic orchestra “in electro hybridization”.
Careful, Overlook Events yet specifies this “show is an independent tribute, no participation of artists associated with Daft Punk and without use of pictures from clips or movies”.
