Event postponed to this summer. "Due to the strikes, the arrival of the Craftsmen and Artists planned to ensure the Festival has been greatly impacted. That's why it has been decided, reluctantly, to postpone the Festival to the very beginning of the summer" announced the organizers in a press release published on April 3rd. Indian music lovers? Come to the Seine Musicale, in Boulogne-Billancourt, from April 7 to 12, 2023 for the Namasté France festival! Organized by the Embassy of India in Paris, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Indian government, this multidisciplinary event is an opportunity to celebrate the 25 years of strategic partnership between India and France.
For 6 days, La Seine Musicale opens its doors to more than 100 artists and craftsmen, eager to present to the most curious Parisians the best of the various Indian traditions. Music, cooking, yoga, photography, art, crafts, not to mention Bollywood dance... get ready to live a fabulous immersive experience to discover the rich cultural diversity of India, without leaving Paris!
On the music side, the Namasté France festival welcomes several big names in the field, including the great sarod maestro, Amjad Ali Khan, but also Ricky Kej, three times winner of the Grammy Awards, or the legendary group Shakti, currently on tour for its 50th anniversary.
