Before the summer starts, a Parisian festival is making many pop, rap and electro music lovers happy. You may have recognized it, I'm talking about We Love Green. This year, the musical and committed event with an eco-responsible approach returns to the Bois de Vincennes for three new highly anticipated days.
On June 2nd, 3rd and 4th, many artists will parade on the different stages of the festival, just to make you dance in the open air and, we hope, under the sun. On the program? Orelsan, Lomepal, Phoenix, Push T, Gazo, PLK, The Blaze, Skrillex, Bon Iver, Dinos or NxWORRIES.
We Love Green 2025 in Paris: LCD Soundsystem joins the line-up
We Love Green returns to the Bois de Vincennes in Paris in 2025! For this new edition, the music festival looks forward to three days of festivities on Friday June 6, Saturday June 7 and Sunday June 8, 2025. The We Love Green line-up includes Yseult, Air, Amelie Lens, Kavinsky, Parcels, Laylow, Tiakola, Clara Luciani, Beach House, Gesaffelstein, Fka Twigs and Charli XCX, who will be in Paris for a unique date in France, as well as the American group LCD Soundsystem! But for this new edition, We Love Green also has a few new features, starting with the arrival of a new stage. Called the Playground stage, this stage will mix music and sport. Yes, sports disciplines are invited this spring to We Love Green. And not just any sports, in this case skateboarding, break and bmx, three disciplines officially present at the Olympic Games of Paris 2024!
For this occasion, the Parisian festival will install a break and flat track, but also, and especially a skate park version XXL with multi-ramps. Thus, throughout the weekend, this huge ramp will host demos of international skateboard pros. Note that two intermediate ramps will highlight the new generation of young skaters who will come to perform some beautiful figures. For the novice skaters, We Love Green will propose initiations, supervised by a skate school from Paris.
Another novelty announced this year at We Love Green? The food menu of the festival becomes 100% vegetarian. A first for a festival of this size! As We Love Green explains in a press release, meat production is responsible for about 15% of greenhouse gas emissions in the world. Therefore, going 100% vegetarian would allow We Love Green to reduce up to 70% of the Food Court's carbon emissions during the festival.
If the Parisian festival is aware that this non carnivorous weekend " will not change the face of the world ", it believes that it " will have a positive impact on consciences, while nourishing the bodies ".
For the rest, the formula remains the same with good music, conferences of the Think Tank and of course a friendly and festive atmosphere as we like!
