On Thursday, September 19, 2024, theAccor Arena in Paris opened its doors to a host of national and international talent! Indochine, Youssou N'Dour, Shaka Ponk, Imagination, Vianney, Santa and Jean-Louis Aubert and Zaz were on the bill for this major concert event,"Taratata celebrates 40 years of Bercy".
This autumn, the legendary Parisian venue in the 12th arrondissement celebrates its 40th anniversary. For four decades now, Bercy has been thrilling the hearts of many a spectator, having welcomed such prestigious artists as Johnny Hallyday, Mylène Farmer, Madonna, David Bowie, Metallica, Björk and Bruce Springsteen. Inaugurated on February 3, 1984, the venue underwent a facelift in 2015, before finally being renamed theAccor Arena de Paris.
This year, to celebrate its 40th anniversary, the venue opened its doors to Taratata for an event concert! On the program: " Over 2h30 of 100% live music, with unexpected duets, unique artistic encounters, must-see covers and never-before-seen performances ", as detailed in a press release published on June 27. The evening was to celebrate " four decades of exceptional musical and sporting moments, deeply rooted in our collective memory ", it added.
Although the concert had been sold out for a long time, the organizers had decided not to reveal anything about the program and the artists present at theAccor Arena on September 19. But a scan of the social networks of the Parisian venue and Taratata this Friday morning revealed which artists were present in the 12th arrondissement on Thursday evening. Who were they? David Hallyday and Santa covering Johnny Hallyday's"L'Envie", Louise Attaque performing their hit"J't'emmène au vent" and Tryo singing their hit"Désolé pour hier soir".
Numerous other artists and groups were on hand, including Shaka Ponk, currently on their farewell tour, the British trio Imagination performing their hit"Just an Illusion", Jean-Louis Aubert, Zaz, Youssou N'Dour, Vianney, Patrick Bruel, Pascal Obispo, Zazie, Cali, McFly and Carlito, not forgetting Indochine, who took the opportunity to perform several songs on this evening presented by Nagui.
Please note that this list is not exhaustive. Other artists were also present at the Accor Arena on Thursday. All proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Fondation pour la Recherche Médicale, supporting the fight against cancer.
