You may have heard of him on France 2's"The Artist", presented by Nagui, or more recently thanks to his duet with Julien Doré, but on February 5, 2025, Joseph Kamel lands at the superb Parisian venue La Cigale for his very first solo tour. A 28-year-old Franco-Egyptian singer-songwriter with a passion for music from an early age, he began writing his own lyrics in high school and tried his hand at all styles, before recording his first single with JYEUHAIR in 2021.
Spotted, he is selected to take part in"The Artist", where he performs his song"Dis-moi", which accumulates over 3 million listens. As a finalist, he gained in popularity with the general public, and was invited by Julien Doré and Claudio Capéo to open for them. He continued to release EPs, then his first album"Miroirs", whose single"Celui qui part" quickly became a gold single, enabling him to be nominated in the French-speaking Revelation category at the NRJ Music Awards 2023.
In 2024, he embarked on a nationwide tour of France, and is now set to set the capital alight with his new pop and French variété songs, including"Ton regard", a gentle, sensitive track, and"Beau", his collaboration with Julien Doré. A close friend of Pierre Garnier, who made his name on Star Academy, he co-wrote his hit song"Ceux qu'on était".
