Francis Scott Fitzgerald’s most famous novel, The Great Gatsby, is a timeless work about love and a genuine picture of an era, the flourishing 30s where jazz and champagne flowed like water. Adapted for the screen with Robert Redford and more recently by Baz Lhurmann with the dazzling Leonardo Di Caprio, the novel is now becoming a ballet performed for a few nights only on the legendary stage of the Folies Bergère.
With world-famous ballet dancer Denis Matvienko from the celebrated Mariinsky Ballet from Saint-Petersburg, New York Complexions dancers and dancers from the Kiev Ballet, New York choreographer Dwight Rhoden takes us in the heart of the schemes of this universal work with delight.
