This is a magical show, usually reserved for those brave enough to face the cold of the Far North. Northern lights are magnificent celestial phenomena one can rarely see, and let alone in Paris. And yet, on July 30 and 31, 2022, artist Dan Acher brightens the sky with his incredible aurora borealis.
This art performance, called Boréalis, will come to life at night fall, from 10:30 p.m. and for two hours, on the parvis of Paris City hall. This mind-blowing visual show will be free for all!
With Boréalis, Dan Acher delivers a magical experience, a true, bright and colorful journey. This visual performance comes with a musical creation composed and performed by Guillaume Desbois. This unusual light and sound show in front of the Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral promises to be one of the beautiful summer events!
This beautiful show also conveys a strong message. The artist shines a light on one’s eyes and experiences throughout life when faced with the most impressive natural phenomena on Earth. With this installation, Dan Acher sounds the alarm and warns us: human actions and global warming can provoke lots of disasters, and make lots of millenary-old treasures disappear.
In July, come to the Notre-Dame parvis and enjoy the beauty and poetry of these northern lights exceptionally lightening up the sky of the 4th arrondissement.
