Do you know how to dance the carole, estampie or tourdion? You'll need to learn fast, so you're ready for the Franco-English medieval ball organized by theHôtel de la Marine on Saturday, September 23, 2023!
For one afternoon, the Parisian monument invites us to step back in time, and enjoy ourselves to the rhythms of yesteryear. This festive event, open to all, is organized in partnership with Carnets de Bal, a dance association that regularly offers these unusual gatherings, reviving the dances and music of previous centuries.
In the Cour d'Honneur of the Hôtel de la Marine, you can admire the medieval dancers, or join in the festivities by joining the dance floor. This medieval ball is entirely free of charge, so come and enchant your afternoon with this dreamlike, never-before-seen event!
The Hôtel de la Marine is organizing this ball in conjunction with its current exhibition: Medieval Treasures from the Victoria and Albert Museum.
