Nostalgic fans of On n'demande qu'en rire will certainly remember him. The comedian Ben is performing his show"Il a beaucoup pleuvu", every Sunday at 8pm at the Point Virgule, until December 17. In this show, the comedian takes stock of his life at the age of 44, and examines the society in which he lives through his new eyes as a father and a man starting to age.
The result is a funny show in which the absurd is the primary source of laughter. Ben has long performed as a duo with Arnaud Tsamere, and if you know and appreciate this other comedian, you'll love Ben. Their style of humor is quite similar, making us laugh with numerous incongruous puns, often coming out of nowhere in the story Ben tells us. Yet the story always flows smoothly, and we move from one subject to another without even realizing it. Children, marriage, everyday life, technological advances and so on.
The result is a show that never bores, and leaves you wanting more when the hour is up.
