Little Rock Story at Théâtre Libre: 75 years of rock history brought to life in a musical show

This autumn, the Théâtre Libre in Paris hosts an intergenerational musical performance. Little Rock Story, an all-ages musical show , promises an immersive experience retracing 75 years of rock history in just 75 minutes. From October 19, 2024 to January 5, 2025, music fans can enjoy a chronological journey through the history of rock!

The show opens with a solitary man playing melancholy blues on an old wooden crate. But the tranquility is short-lived. A piano appears, closely followed by drums, guitar and bass, eclipsing the lone singer's voice. This transition symbolizes rock's journey from its humble origins in the American South to its explosion in the metropolises a few decades later. It's an ode to the essential ingredient that propelled rock to glory: electricity.

Little Rock Story isn't just a concert, it's a musical history lesson that spans all the styles of rock: from punk to grunge, psychedelia to metal, glam-rock to progressive rock. Fans can expect tributes to their idols, true rock icons: Elvis, The Beatles, The Stones, AC/DC, Jimi Hendrix, The Clash, Metallica, to name but a few.
