After selling out their Beauty and the Beast show at the Château de Maisons-Laffitte in November and December 2023, production company Polaris has signed a new immersive show in Seine-Saint-Denis, based around one of the department's most emblematic monuments: the Basilica of Saint-Denis.
So, from April 19, 2024 and over three weekends in April and May, experience an immersion into the heart of the Basilica' s history by taking part in the Night of the Queens, an interactive event during which the Basilica is transformed. In all, over 300 volunteer actors, dancers and extras will bring this immersion to life for the public, who will discover the different stages of the Basilica's construction through the portraits of six women, six Queens who left their mark on this historic monument, from the year 250 to the Revolution.
Costumes, props, sets, actors: take part in this unusual adventure, and immerse yourself in history in the most interactive - and immersive - way possible! And don't miss the famous ball at the end of each performance, in honor of the Basilica's spire, now under reconstruction. It's the perfect way to discover the most famous Basilica north of Paris, known as the tomb of the Kings and Queens of France.
