Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain 2024, photos

The famous Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain under the Cirque Phénix big top is back. This 43rd edition awaits you, on the Pelouse de Reuilly, from January 25 to 28, 2024.

Since 1977, the Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain has been showcasing young circus talent from around the world, aged 16 to 30, in a major competition that brings together all the circus arts. This year, the festival brings together 18 countries (from the European Union, but also the UK, Ukraine, Tajikistan, Argentina, Canada, China and India for the second time only...).

The vintages follow one another, but are never the same. On Thursday, we were thrilled to discover show A, which will be replayed on Saturday, and a part on Sunday, bringing together the selected participants.

At the end of Saturday night's deliberations, all the medal winners and prize-winners will take part in the Laureates' Show on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at 3:00 p.m., with the prize-giving ceremony live on stage and in the presence of the public. In short, this is the show you don't want to miss! A true springboard for the future, this festival brings together the best of the best in one place.

This year's Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain features over twenty circus acts, divided into 2 programs.

• Two on the Rope - Corde Verticale, Germany
  Two on a rope, the duo twirl in symbiosis.

• National Acrobatic Troupe of China - Juggling, China
  A most atypical set-up for a juggling show with millimeter precision.

• Vassiliki Rossillion - Flying Rope, France
  Vassiliki Rossillion gave us strength and dynamism.

• Alexandre Lane - Cyr Wheel, Canada
  A Cyr Wheel in which light is an integral part.

• Hunish Parmar - Aerial straps, India
  A magnificent array of straps in the colors of India.

• Trio Inshi - Juggling, Ukraine
  We loved the staging of this finely-tuned trio.

• The Revel Pucks - Giant Rola Rola, United Kingdom
  Good humor, laughter and performance from this lively troupe.

  Les Expirés finish with a roller-skating show that's as funny as it is mesmerizing.
