The show begins on the plains of the Far North, where the protagonist, cursed by an accidentally captured mermaid, escapes his curse on skates, scooters and even a cardboard plane. His journey takes him across Scotland and south on the back of a mule, in search of love and adventure, while meeting a cast of colorful characters.

What sets Les Gros Patinent Bien apart is its unique approach to staging: an actor in a three-piece suit remains seated, while his swimsuit-clad sidekick animates the space with hundreds of cardboard pieces representing various elements of their journey.
