Chers Parents runs at the Théâtre de Paris until June 30, 2024. Written by Emmanuel and Armelle Patron, the play tells the story of a family of three children, whose parents have to break some big news .
Chers Parents is the first play by siblings Emmanuel and Armelle Patron. The two authors had already written for television, but their theatrical debut was quickly a great success, and was nominated in 2022 for the Molière for Best Comedy. After tours throughout France and two seasons at the Théâtre de Paris, the comedy returns to the stage.
Directed by the two authors and Anne Dupagne, the play plunges us into a touching family atmosphere. Three children, close to their parents, learn that they have some news to tell them. The parents tell them what they think is great news, but the three children are not happy about it. A comedy that tackles the themes of family, love, money and more, in a well-paced satire .
Chers Parents runs at the Théâtre de Paris until June 30 .
