Rabbits in Paris? "Le Problème Lapin, Cartographie 7" examines the subject in the form of a theatrical conference at the Théâtre du Rond-Point, from January 10 to 27, 2024. An intriguing and innovative theatrical proposition, led by Frédéric Ferrer, in the tradition of avant-garde shows that encourage reflection while offering an entertaining form.
The "Problème Lapin, Cartographie 7" is a singular artistic proposition conceived and directed by author, director and performer (and incidentally ex-geographer) Frédéric Ferrer. In contemporary theater, Ferrer stands out for his ability to fuse science, humor and social themes in his creations. For "Problème Lapin", the author asks himself the following questions: "Where do all these rabbits come from, as they multiply all around us, even in the public gardens of our beloved capital? Is this a new symptom of global disruption? The marker of the uncontrollable evolution of living things?"
In the same vein, and among Frédéric Ferrer's works, we find "Atlas de l'Anthropocène", a daring series of lecture-spectacles that plunges into the twists and turns of the Anthropocene, the era in which man is leaving his indelible mark on the planet. With "Kyoto Forever", Ferrer tackles the complex terrain of international climate negotiations, while "Les Chroniques du réchauffement " is a captivating work about climate change. These pieces, combining scientific data and immersive storytelling, testify to Ferrer's unique approach to making complex subjects both accessible and deeply engaging, in order to provoke thought and debate on themes of paramount importance to our times.
In addition to being the play's author, Frédéric Ferrer will also act as guest speaker throughout the show. So look forward to a surprisingly burlesque and erudite performance. "Le Problème Lapin, Cartographie 7", a theatrical creation mixing humor, science and societal issues with a touch of originality and finesse, characteristic of Ferrer's productions, from January 10 to 27, 2024, on the stage of the Théâtre du Rond-Point.
