For its 80th anniversary, the Palais de la Découverte wished to pay tribute to the man – and searcher – that Louis Pasteur was through an interactive and educational exhibition.
The staging is chronological and theatrical: like on stage, it evolves around acts, 6 all in all, a prolog and an epilog. The route is playful and accessible to children from 9 years old, especially thanks to movies, models and reconstitution of period scenes. These animations perfectly help children (and adults) to understand the wide field of biology.
The “Pasteur, the experimenter” exhibition highlights the scientist’s great discoveries: his groundbreaking advances in terms of microbiology and chemistry, the rabies vaccine and the pasteurization (named after himself). You’ll get it, Pasteur is more than a simple name, he’s simply the most famous French scientist!
A family exhibition to be discovered from December 12. For the record, the Palais de la Découverte has been freshly renovated and now reveals a wonderful cupola, make the best of your trip to admire it.
