The
house of Azzaro is on display at the
Arts Décoratifs (1st) until May 6, 2018. Come and discover 50 years of
Azzaro creations in 50 models, in a beautiful free exhibition that sums up the
Azzaro woman very well, "a woman who imposes without ever imposing, who assumes her femininity with spirit, casualness and freedom."
The exhibition, the first Azzaro retrospective, questions the presence of the Loris Azzaro femininity from the 70s to today, and reveals the 4 obsessions of the Azzaro house - the latent provocation, the audacity of the night, the freedom of movement and the brightness of the lines with the 50 models on display.
Attracted by the world of nightlife, Loris Azzaro created in the 1970s sculptural, daring dresses that have entered the pantheon of fashion icons. With provocative drapes, suggestive transparencies, sensual lamé and bright colors (especially thanks to the use of rhinestones), the creations of the house of Azzaro are provocative and shout the freedom of women, while ensuring an undeniable glamour!
For 50 years, the house of Azzaro has sought to respect the vision of Loris Azzaro with ever more stunning models, and continues to dress the stars, immortalized by the greatest photographers including Helmut Newton and Richard Avedon. More than a tribute, the exhibition is a beautiful presentation of a house that respects Loris Azzaro's vision of women, a vision that continues to seduce the new generation of designers, photographers and celebrities.
