Gamers and Genshin Impact fans, mark your calendars! From August 19 to 27, 2023, the Joseph Saint Merri Gallery will be devoting an exhibition to the HoYoverse video game, Endless Adventure in Teyvat: Fontaine Edition. A multimedia exhibition focusing on art in this Chinese video game that conquered the world during the Covid.
An exhibition celebrating the upcoming release of the "Fountain" arc, within the game's "Nation of Justice". An area whose culture, art and technologies are inspired by France and Europe.
The program includes 30 concept drawings, 60 sketches revealing the behind-the-scenes creation of Fontaine, giant 1:1 scale 3D models and miniatures, as well as derivative works and fan art by over 40 artists and content creators, including Solène Debiès, sumi-e Yu-Ki Nishimoto, Yuzhi Zhou and Maxence Ma. The complete scores of the main symphonic theme and that of the Battle of Fontaine are also included.
The exhibition is being held simultaneously in other cities around the globe, including New York, Taipei and Tokyo. Please note that pre-registration is required to enjoy the Genshin Impact exhibition, although it is free of charge.
