The Chanel Fashion Manufacture celebrates the beginning of spring with free exhibitions and workshops at the Galerie du 19M, until April 16, 2023. White cards, embroidery initiations and exclusive visits to the Maisons d'art are on the program!
The Galerie du 19M is getting into the spirit of spring! Until April 16, 2023, the HQ of the Maisons d'art Chanel, dedicated to the promotion and transmission of fashion, decoration and design know-how, is decked out in flowery workshops, between which a bouquet of events and hotexhibitions is blossoming! Discover the program of this fashion hot spot, adorned with embroidery, feathers, jewelry and flowers, as well as some conferences!

- "The Crafts of Decoration and Design" exhibition

High-end craftsmanship is on display at the Galerie du 19M. For more than a month, four of the 19M's resident art houses will be revealing their excellent know-how through the exhibition of their precious creations. Along the way, we find Goossens, specialized in goldsmithing, not far from Lemarié, who masters to perfection the art of featherwork and pleating. On the needlework side, Lesage Intérieurs presents its refined embroideries for decoration and furnishings, while Studio MTX unveils a more architectural version.
Dedicated to lovers of decoration, interior design and other enthusiasts, the exhibition highlights the rich heritage of the Chanel Houses of Art, each an expert in its field and at the forefront of the best innovations.

The young generation of designers meets once again at the Galerie du 19M! The exhibition presents the collaborations between the 19M's resident Houses and the 10 fashion finalists of the 37th edition of the Festival d'Hyères 2022, as part of the Prix le19M des Métiers d'art de Chanel, as well as the three winners of the 36th edition. It is also the occasion to celebrate the centenary of the Villa Noailles, emblem of young creation!
- Embroidery initiation workshop "Entrelacs"

A large-scale immersion in embroidery at the 19M! Join the initiation workshops and participate in the making of two monumental couture installations. Let yourself be guided by the creators of these participative works, Desire Moheb-Zandi and Julian Farade, as well as the experts of the Lesage Embroidery House.
The signature of the first designer: weaving. Dive into Moheb-Zandi's pop & pixelated world, embroidering backgrounds inspired by 90s video games. As for Farade, put your touch on his triptych composed of poetic creatures that populate his bestiary.
These workshops are symbolic, as they celebrate the transmission of the gesture and aim to perpetuate the art of embroidery.
- Jewelry workshops with Anicet

A pioneer in the creation of upcycled jewelry in France, Anicet, created by designer Elia Pradel, promotes old and contemporary second-hand jewelry. For this workshop at the 19M, Elia proposes an immersion in her workshop and the realization of a unique jewel from pearls, threads and metal scraps from the reserves and houses of the 19M. The creator proposes to bring her own jewels in order to give them a second life. Participants can leave with the fruit of their work.
- Feather workshops for children with the Maison Lemarié

Children will have fun creating a feathered "little monster" keychain, after a visit to the exhibition at the Gallery, and will be able to leave with the fruit of their work at the end of the workshop.

Each year, Debeaulieu creates the floral arrangements and the plant arrangements of the villa Noailles in Hyères, Toulon and outside the walls, by collaborating with the artists invited by the art center. Your children can take part in this flower design workshop to play the apprentice florist!
- Flower market with Regain

For the first weekend of spring, the country newspaper Regain invites several florists from the greater northeast of Paris to set up their booth in the Galerie du 19M to sell flowers, seeds and gardening accessories .
- Floral embroidery workshop with Miyoko Yasumoto

Miyoko Yasumoto is a French-Japanese designer who creates the floral scenography of the Galerie du 19M. On the occasion of the flower market organized by the magazine Regain, Miyoko will introduce you to embroidery by making a floral design with a selection of dried flowers. Participants can leave with the fruit of their work.
