For Paris Fashion Week Haute Couture 2023, the Plaza Athénée is transformed into a veritable temple of fashion! The emblematic hotel on avenue Montaigne is revamping its façade in the colors of the event, starting July 5, and organizing a free couture exhibition open to all, right in the heart of its lobby, from June 30 to July 13, 2023.
Ideally located in the heart of the City of Light and next door to some of the world's leading fashion houses, the Plaza Athénée has always been a haven for fashionistas. This season, graceful silhouettes and haute couture gowns take over the palace, from its historic façade to its luxurious interiors.
From July 5, the façade of the Hôtel will be adorned with a 2D catwalk, trodden by life-size models dressed in red, catching the eye of passers-by. An original and poetic decor imagined in collaboration with the Terres Rouges agency.
Fashion will even intrude into the lobby of the Plaza Athénée, unveiling a free exhibition entitled Couture et Métiers d'Art, from June 30 to July 13, 2023. In partnership with the Fédération Française de la Création Couture Sur Mesure and the Confédération Française des Métiers d'art, it will reveal six unique red dresses, custom-made exclusively for the hotel by six couturiers and seven craftsmen. Master glassmakers, basket-makers and bronzemakers worked closely with French fashion designers to create these original pieces. A harmonious fusion that gives life to true works of art, celebrating timeless elegance and artisanal excellence.
