Six young photographers take up residence at Quai de la Photo, for an original, free exhibition to be discovered from October 18 to December 10, 2023. Through a series of photographs, these artists reveal their world, their swirling, colorful, ever-changing universe.
The Jeunes énergies Paris-BXL exhibition features Rami Hara, Elsa Kostic, Silina Syan, the duo La Strataussphère and Ismaël Bazri. These new photographic talents share their questions, hopes and doubts in their work. Humor and fragility, pop culture and visions of the future, the quest for identity, music, sport, nature, the absurdity of the world and its codes... The artists immortalize the subjects that fascinate French-speaking youth, the questions that drive them and make them want to revolutionize everything.
What traditions to hold on to, what identity to claim, what future to hope for, what icons... These universal themes are reappropriated by this young generation of artists, who don't hesitate to shake up codes and break away from rules to find their own way, their own means of expression.
With humor, emotion, a dose of vulnerability and a great deal of kindness for the Other, the artists invite us to plunge into their colorful, dynamic universe. It's a lovely exhibition to see, both to discover new talent and to appreciate these innovative and original works. This year-end, we're off to Quai de la Photo!
