The museum, which celebrates its 200th anniversary this year, invites young and old to a celebration of the body through ceramics for one day and one evening, on the occasion of Reading Night.
The Musée National de Céramique de Sèvres, founded by the visionary Alexandre Brongniart in 1824 and renowned for its extensive collection ofceramics spanning the ages and cultures, is inviting young and old to an evening celebration of the body through sculpture, on the occasion of the Nuit de la Lecture.
This nationwide initiative aims to rekindle a taste for reading, with events taking place all over France. At the Musée national de Céramique de Sèvres, storytelling for young and old, modeling workshops and text-based drawing workshops will be taking place throughout the event. Visitors can also (re)discover works from the impressive, world-renowned collection of over 55,000 ceramic objects.
On the Reading Night program:
