Nuits de la lecture 2025: discover the literary program in Paris and the Île-de-France region

Initiated by the French Ministry of Culture, the Nuits de la Lecture (Reading Nights ) aim to give French people of all ages a taste for reading, with free events tailored to different types of readers. For this 9th edition, the theme of heritage invites all readers to come together to put books at the heart of our lives for a few days, from January 23 to 26, 2025.

Celebrated throughout France, the Nuits de la Lecture (Reading Nights) in Paris and the Paris region offer four evenings dedicated to books and authors, in bookshops, libraries, schools, museums and cultural and artistic venues. Join in this popular celebration of thelove of books, with poetry readings, writing workshops, meetings and exceptional tours.
