From September 13 to 15, 2024, join us at the Musée Guimet to celebrate Chuseok, the Harvest and Full Moon Festival, one of Korea's most important traditional festivals. Lots of entertainment on the program!

For lovers of Korean culture, the Musée Guimet, which showcases collections of Asian art, is organizing a celebration of Korea 's traditional festival par excellence, Chuseok, on the weekend of September 13 to 15, 2024! The harvest and full moon festival takes place on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month, the perfect time to gather with family and friends, dressed in a hanbok, to give thanks for the earth's bounty through ceremonies and entertainment.

For the occasion, the Parisian museum, in partnership with the Korean Cultural Center, has concocted a number of traditional games reminiscent of those played in Korea, as well as literary encounters, festive evenings on the museum rooftop and unusual tours based around museum objects, in connection with Korean dramas!
