Paris Design Week 2024: two works based on the world of perfume at Maison D'ORSAY

Paris Design Week is back from September 5 to 14, 2024 for ten days of design-focused festivals in showrooms, stores, galleries and even monuments across the capital! An opportunity to discover current and future trends for the curious and design-lovers alike, whether in furniture, decorative art, architecture or even perfume.

In all, over two weekends, more than 400 venues will be taking part in this major event, featuring open houses, workshops, conferences and private tours, most of them free of charge! For the occasion, the D'ORSAY perfume house is presenting two works by visual artist Irina Rasquinet, created from the mouillettes used by perfumers! This artistic installation can be seen in the windows of the Saint-Germain-Des-Prés store.

A space totally dedicated to fragrances, located in the heart of a neighborhood known for its love of letters, in homage to Marguerite Blessington, Alfred d'Orsay's muse and unwitting initiator of the first perfume for couples imagined by this aesthete with a passion for fragrances. As well as discovering this work of art, which is a tribute to perfumery, you can also create an olfactory portrait in this boutique if you'd like to buy a perfume, candle or home fragrance!
