When graffiti and the art of shibari meet... The Crossing Lines exhibition awaits you at the Goldshteyn-Saatort gallery in Paris from November 15, 2024 to January 15, 2024 (opening November 14, 2024). This project brings together two artists from different worlds: JonOne, known for his dynamic graffiti and vivid colors, and Marie Sauvage, a shibari specialist. Together, they explore the encounter between urban painting and string art, immersing visitors in a creation of contrasting energy and precision.
Theexhibition is distinguished by the juxtaposition of diametrically opposed artistic styles: JonOne offers works marked by visual intensity and chaotic movement, while Marie Sauvage adds subtle, structured creations shaped by shibari techniques. This blend of textures and contrasts creates a singular atmosphere where, according to the organizers, " tension, freedom and beauty intertwine " to reveal an innovative vision of contemporary artistic expression.
To mark the launch of theexhibition, a vernissage will be held on November 14, from 6pm to 11pm, in the presence of the artists. A joint performance by JonOne and Marie Sauvage will illustrate this artistic collaboration. Please note, however, that the opening can only be booked by e-mail or telephone (see practical info for contact details).
