Crossing Lines: our photos of the exhibition mixing graffiti and shibari at the Goldshteyn-Saatort gallery

When graffiti and the art of shibari meet... Theexhibition-installation Crossing Lines awaits you at the Goldshteyn-Saatort gallery in Paris from November 14, 2024 to January 15, 2024. This project brings together two artists from distinct worlds: JonOne, known for his dynamic graffiti and vivid colors, and Marie Sauvage, a shibari specialist. Together, they explore the encounter between urban painting and string art, immersing visitors in a creation of contrasting energy and precision.

Theexhibition is distinguished by the juxtaposition of diametrically opposed artistic styles: JonOne, in residence, offers works marked by visual intensity and chaotic movement, while Marie Sauvage adds subtle, structured creations shaped by shibari techniques. This blend of textures and contrasts creates a singular atmosphere where, according to the organizers, " tension, freedom and beauty intermingle " to reveal an innovative vision of contemporary artistic expression.

To mark the launch of theexhibition, a vernissage was held on November 14, from 6pm to 11pm, in the presence of the artists. A joint performance by JonOne and Marie Sauvage was scheduled, illustrating this live artistic collaboration. Please note that a further meeting with the artists may be scheduled, depending on the gallery's calendar.
