Artist Lise Haller Baggesen unveils an exhibition full of hope and color: from February 7 to March 30, 2025, discover "ChromAmour, une métamorphose", free of charge, at Bicolore - Maison du Danemark.

Gone is the world of black and white, beige and grey. No more neutrality, no more discretion: artist Lise Haller Baggesen wants to put color back in the spotlight, in a world that could do with some joy, some effusion, some passion. The Danish artist presents her new exhibition at Bicolore - Maison du Danemark, from February 7 to March 30, 2025.

The free exhibition ChromAmour: une métamorphose is ambitious: through her works, the artist wants to encourage viewers to reclaim reality, and the joy that can be found in the tactile world, far from the digital. Lise Haller Baggesen wants to imagine new worlds, futures where the human is at the center of life, where community is palpable and shared.

The Danish artist works with fabrics and dresses from debutante balls. These dresses are painted, cut, reworked and reshaped to create unique works. These patchworks of color are reminiscent of children's creations, a more poetic and free universe, where a piece of fabric contains a thousand possibilities. These textile works are metamorphosed: thecontemporary artist wants to encourage viewers to rediscover that creative fibre that enables us to see potential, improvements and changes in what surrounds us.

This free exhibition is also an ode to love: just like these works of fabric, love is also colorful, free, and can change and transform our vision of the world...

Lise Haller Baggesen sees in these dresses a symbol of life: these envelopes can evolve, take new paths, have a new mission, a new goal. They can stand alone, or join forces with others...

Colors play an important role in this exhibition: no more binary, definitive blacks and whites. In the infinite nuancier of colors, everyone can find what corresponds to them. Loaded with meaning and symbolism, these colors also associate us with groups, beliefs and communities. They provoke emotions and appeal to our most primal sensations.

Let yourself be carried away into the world of Lise Haller Baggesen at Le Bicolore - Maison du Danemark.
