Grevin Paris main attraction Hall of Mirrors that seduces tourists since the Universal Exhibition of 1900 has just been entirely renovated by artist Krysle Lip in early July 2018.

Expect to be blown-away! Grevin Paris Hall of Mirrors, the legendary attraction, has been entirely renovated, 110 years after its creation and has been officially revealed on July 3, 2018.

On the origin, the Hall of Mirrors, as known as the Illusion Palace or the Electricity Palace has been created by a visionary engineer fond of urbanism for the Universal Exhibition of 1900, Eugène Hénard, at the same time as the famous Eiffel Tower.

Said to be destroyed – as much infrastructures created for the Universal Exhibitions – the Hall of Mirrors delighted Gabriel Thomas who was Grevin Paris CEO who achieves a technological feat by setting up the museum in 1908.

Regularly updated since its opening, the attraction has undergone a new makeover this early July 2018.

It’s young American artists, author, composer, performer and designer Krysle Lip who has been entrusted with the art direction and the aesthetical transformation of the Hall of Mirrors along with the king of “haute coiffure” Charlie Le Mindu and famous Parisian tattoo artist Sébastien Mathieu aka SM Bousille, for the characters of the third décor.

For jewels, Angela Oheix and Lucie Lebrun from Legion Paris chose raw steel, giving cheeky, graphic and resolutely contemporary jewels.

The floral décor of the jungle is designed by Eriko Nagata who associates modern art to fashion for a unique and enchanting result.

For the video creation and the light set, multimedia artist Laurent Fradet, Jean Reydellet as well as Benoît Dauvergne, light up the Hall of Mirrors decors in a fairy-like and fantastic way.

And of course, Grévin Paris, studio and technic teams joined forces to realize the metamorphosis of this historic place.

And how such as show is created? Here’s the making off:

In other words, a lovely show to discover this summer in Paris!
