La ferme ouverte de Saint-Denis, for a family nature getaway in Seine Saint-Denis

A farm in the middle of Saint-Denis: it was a daring challenge, but since its opening, the Open Farm haswelcomed young and old alike throughout the week, at weekends and during the vacations, for a real immersion into the world of the farm with the whole family. It's an opportunity for children living in the city to discover a world they don't come across on a daily basis, through visits andcreative or culinaryworkshops.

Along with the Saint-Cyr l'École and Sartrouville farms, the Saint-Denis open farm is part of the Gally farm network, which offers pick-your-own, crop and animal tours for all ages. All year round, the Saint-Denis open farm welcomes children aged 3 to 12 accompanied by their parents, uncles, aunties, grandparents...

You'll meet the farm's chickens, rabbits, pigs, goats and other furry and feathered residents, to the delight of the little ones! It's also an opportunity to discover the market gardening techniques used on the farm, to learn more about how fruit, vegetables and aromatic herbs are grown in the Ferme Ouverte 's large greenhouses, or to take part in creative and culinary workshops to make your own bread, create small objects from recycled materials...

The farm's program varies according to the season, with special events for Christmas and the festive season, although some workshops, such as bread-making, are offered all year round. Before you leave, don't forget to visit the Gally market, where you can buy fruit, vegetables and farm produce grown directly on the Saint-Denis farm!
