After last April's unusual parade of camels and other camelids at the Salon de l'Agriculture, it's now Asnières' turn to welcome a strange herd of donkeys this weekend, Saturday June 8 and Sunday June 9, 2024. For the first edition of the " Fête des Ânes", come and discover these large animals with your family, with activities and rides on their backs.
From the donkey who created gold shields in Peau d'Â ne to the Little Donkey of the Brothers Grimm, the donkey is often portrayed as a benevolent animal. So, this weekend of June 8 and 9, 2024, the town of Asnières-sur-Seine is putting them in the spotlight at the Fête des Ânes, an event to discover how the donkey is used by Man, but above all, to see animals in real size!
The program includes a mini-ranch with rocking horses and donkeys for toddlers, a workshop to create the famous split-wood rod used to drive the donkey, as well as donkey rides on the backs of the animals, and a family ride on the wooden Ferris wheel.
