Puy du Fou is ready to make you travel back in time again! The theme park reopens from April 9, 2022, to visitors for a tourist season until November 6th. As for novelties, the park announced the soon opening and the launching of booking for the "Belle Epoque" show train.
The many immersive shows, restaurants, the animal area, and the flowered park of the Puy du Fou expect you all for an unforgettable and magical stay.
Dive into the heart of a fantastic and lively story thanks to living performances, hundreds of actors and trained animals, and special effects making you feel like in a Hollywood movie. This family-friendly park covers over 150 hectars and delights children as much as adults. Performed by 4,000 volunteers, Puy du Fou's Cinéscénie covers 700 years of history, from the Middle-Ages to WWII in a new dimension staging. Every night, 2,400 actors, 130 horseriders, 80 technicians and 500 people for reception and security work in and for this uncommon 23-hectare stage.
You will love discovering the nighttime show of the Noces de Feu. Every night, at night fall, a soft music plays on the lake, awakening the memories of the most romantic of all weddings. The violinist Muse and the virtuoso Piano meet and celebrate their undying love in a magical romance with water and fire. Attend this fantastic wedding where dancers and giant backgrounds come from the depths of the lake, like mirages, coming back to life to offer the newly weds the dream of an unforgettable party. The show is included in the Grand Parc tour in the green period.
As for novelties, note you can pre-book a cabin now for the Belle Epoque show train that will come to life in 2023, called "Le Grand Tour", and aiming at being "the longest and most extravagant show ever made in the world", according to Puy du Fou president Nicolas de Villiers. His goal is Puy du Fou to become "the first private rail company since 1938".
The train's route will cover 4,000 kilometers and last 6 days and 5 nights, departing from Paris Gare de l'Est, and driving through "eleven wonders in France". The train "with modern comfort" and high-end services will drive through Epernay (to visit Dom Pérignon cellars), Reims, Beaune (private tour of the 'Hospices'), Annecy, Avignon, Aix-en-Provence (tour of Paul Cézanne's studio), Arcachon, Pauillac, Chenonceau and Puy du Fou before heading back to Paris.
Every day, about thirty passengers will be allowed in this exceptional train. The train will take you back in time through 500 or 600km. Meet historic characters on board as well as many surprises along the way. This new ride is likely to get itself talked about a lot, and undoubtedly likely to attract history buffs, from Puy du Fou and those willing to (re)discover France.
Note 3 departures are planned from the summer 2023. Only 690 travelers can enjoy it. Allow from €4,900 per person for 6 days and 5 nights! You can already proceed to a pre-booking on the Grand Tour website, and the ticketing service officially opens in the summer 2022.
While waiting for this superb discovery, book tickets for season 2022 at Puy du Fou!
