Parc Spirou is THE park inspired by the world of comics from Belgian publishing house Dupuis that has set up shop in Provence, in Monteux, to be exact, in the Vaucluse region. A park opened in June 2018 that welcomes families to fill up on sensations around comic book heroes, such as Gaston Lagaffe, Spirou and Fantasio, Kid Paddle, the Marsupilami, Lucky Luke, and many more.
As for thrill-seekers , there are several Spirou and Daltons roller coasters, including Spirou Racing and Wanted Dalton. But families won't be outdone either, with a host of attractions dedicated to them, including Fantasio Rodeo, Splash Piranha, Marsu Palombia and Lucky River, a flume ride based on the world of Lucky Luke.
New attractions for the 2024 season include Kid Paddle 's own zone, scheduled to open this summer: Blorks Attack, a disk'o coaster in which you board a flying saucer that Kid Paddle and his friend Horace send back and forth to each other; Aqua Slime Project, an aquatic plant maze; the Slime Station store area; and the Kid Freezer restaurant.
Another highlight of the new season is the return of the Comic Strip Festival on May 25 and 26, 2024, where visitors can meet numerous comic strip authors and illustrators, as well as take part in a variety of activities, including masterclass sessions, make-up workshops, competitions and plenty of other surprises. In autumn, Parc Spirou is transformed for Halloween, from October 5 to November 3, 2024.
In short, a great season ahead... The ideal weekend getaway for the whole family!
