Nuit des Châteaux 2024: a musical visit to the Château de Dampierre-en-Yvelines

Just like the Nuit des Musées, there's also a Nuit des Châteaux. A program to (re)discover, by night, the splendor of France's architectural and historical heritage. On October 18, 19 and 20, 2024, we invite you to Paris and the Ile-de-France region to rediscover the treasures of our region and raise awareness of the need to preserve our monuments and castles.

Château Dampierre-en-Yvelines is once again taking part in this family event. Located in the Yvelines region, in the famous Vallée de Chevreuse, it has long been considered the most important château in the Île-de-France region, and has welcomed visiting kings of France including François I, Louis XIV and Louis XV. Its fine classical architecture, dating from the last quarter of the 17th century, was designed by the architect Jules Hardouin Mansart.

So, what does the Domaine de Dampierre-en-Yvelines have in store for Nuit des Châteaux 2024? The monument opens its doors to us on the evening of Saturday, October 19, 2024, with a magical program!

La Nuit des Châteaux at the Domaine de Dampierre-en-Yvelines :

• Discover a musical stroll through the heart of the château, from 6pm to 9:30pm!
  Let yourself be transported by music from the 17th and 19th centuries through three key periods in the château's history. Conclude your musical stroll in the bandstand, where a DJ will rock you to the contemporary rhythms of the 21st century. It's an immersive experience that lets you explore the château and its estate in a whole new way, through the notes and the centuries!
• Continuous self-guided musical stroll.
• Electric lanterns for children available on site.
• Snacks available at the Kiosk.
