On June 1 and 2, 2024, the "L'eau et les rêves" barge bookshop will be hosting another edition of its "Bons Plants" festival. On the program: seed swaps, plant sales, meetings and workshops for children and adults, and an Ulmer publishing sale!

On the weekend of June 1 and 2, 2024, the " L'eau et les rêves" barge, botanical bookshop and café, invites you to spend some time between nature and books, on the occasion of its Bons Plants festival! From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., enjoy a book sale, plant sales, seed swaps and workshops for young and old, on the banks of the Canal de l'Ourcq. It's the ideal setting to spend a good time on the water and without breaking the bank, surrounded by budding gardeners and avid readers.

On the program:

  • Small-group workshops to discover and explore new skills: cooking, plant propagation, flower arrangements, making paper with plant inclusions, "board game" animation around the vegetable garden...
  • A small producers's and designer's market to support local, committed trade: flowers, plants, seeds, pottery and kitchen garden products...
  • A flea market of books published by Ulmer to give a second life to unsold items, and do good for your wallet and the planet!
  • A catering offer specially designed for the event
It will be possible to have brunch on the barge, so don't forget to book! Throughout the year, the green barge is also the venue for conferences, book signings and even film screenings on the theme of nature and plants!
